蚂蚁和蝉

夏天xià tiān，蚂蚁mǎ yǐ们men忙máng着zhuó搬bān粮食liáng shi，蝉chán却què站zhàn在zài树shù上shàng唱歌chàng gē。

In summer the ants worked hard carrying grain while the cicada sang in the tree.

蝉chán笑xiào蚂蚁mǎ yǐ：这么zhè me好hào的de天气tiān qì，为什么wèi shén me不bù玩wán？

The cicada laughed: 'Such fine weather, why not play?'

蚂蚁mǎ yǐ说shuō：我们wǒ men在zài为wéi冬天dōng tiān准备zhǔn bèi粮食liáng shi。

'We are laying up food for winter,' said the ants.

冬天dōng tiān来lái了liǎo，蝉chán没有méi yǒu吃chī的de，饿è得děi受不了shòu bù liǎo。

Winter came. The cicada had nothing to eat and nearly starved.

有yǒu准备zhǔn bèi的de人rén，才cái不bù怕pà冬天dōng tiān。

Those who prepare need not fear winter.
