有一个人养了很多猴子。后来粮食不够了，他对猴子说：以后每天早上给你们三个橡子，晚上四个。
A man kept many monkeys. When food ran short he told them: 'From now on, three acorns in the morning and four at night.'
猴子们听了，都非常生气。
The monkeys were furious.
他马上改口说：那么，早上四个，晚上三个，怎么样？
He quickly amended: 'Then four in the morning and three at night, how about that?'
猴子们一听，早上多了一个，都高兴得跳了起来。
One more in the morning! The monkeys jumped for joy.
其实，橡子的总数没有变，只是换了一个说法。
The total never changed, only the way it was put.
