蝴蝶泉

大dà理lǐ苍cāng山shān云yún弄nòng峰fēng下xià有yǒu个gè蝴蝶hú dié泉quán。古gǔ时候shí hou姑娘gū niang雯wén姑gū和hé猎人liè rén霞xiá郎láng相xiāng爱ài。

Under Cangshan's Yunong Peak near Dali lies the Butterfly Spring, where Wen'gu the girl and Xialang the hunter loved.

恶è霸bà虞yú王wáng看kàn上shàng了le雯wén姑gū，要yào抢qiǎng她tā。雯wén姑gū和hé霞xiá郎láng一起yì qǐ跳tiào进jìn蝴蝶hú dié泉quán里lǐ。

The tyrant Prince Yu desired Wen'gu; the lovers leapt together into the spring.

泉quán水shuǐ里lǐ飞fēi出chū一yí对duì美丽měi lì的de蝴蝶hú dié，从此cóng cǐ每měi年nián农历nóng lì四sì月yuè十shí五wǔ，上shàng万wàn只zhī蝴蝶hú dié飞fēi到dào泉quán边biān来lái。

A pair of butterflies rose from the water, and every year on the 15th of the fourth moon tens of thousands gather at the spring.

人们rén men说shuō那nà两liǎng只zhī蝴蝶hú dié就是jiù shì雯wén姑gū和hé霞xiá郎láng，蝴蝶hú dié会huì就是jiù shì来lái看kàn他们tā men团圆tuán yuán的de。

They are Wen'gu and Xialang, people say, the Butterfly Festival celebrates their reunion.
