买椟还珠

一yī个gè楚chǔ国guó人rén有yǒu一yī颗kē漂亮piào liang的de珍珠zhēn zhū，他tā做zuò了liǎo一yī个gè非常fēi cháng精美jīng měi的de盒子hé zi来lái装zhuāng它tā。

A man of Chu had a beautiful pearl and made an exquisite box for it.

他tā用yòng香xiāng木mù做zuò盒子hé zi，还huán装饰zhuāng shì了liǎo玉yù石shí和hé珍珠zhēn zhū，熏xūn上shàng香料xiāng liào。

He built it of fragrant wood, set it with jade and pearls, and perfumed it with incense.

一yī个gè郑zhèng国guó人rén买mǎi下xià了liǎo盒子hé zi，却què把bǎ里面lǐ miàn的de珍珠zhēn zhū还huán给gěi了liǎo卖mài主zhǔ。

A man of Zheng bought the box, and returned the pearl inside to the seller.

他tā只zhī看中kàn zhòng了liǎo盒子hé zi的de漂亮piào liang，却què不知bù zhī道dào真正zhēn zhèng值钱zhí qián的de是shì里面lǐ miàn的de珍珠zhēn zhū。

He prized the pretty box but never knew the real treasure was the pearl within.
