愚公移山

有yǒu一yī个gè九jǐu十shí岁suì的de老人lǎo rén，叫jiào愚yú公gōng。他tā家jiā门mén前qián有yǒu两liǎng座zuò大dà山shān，出门chū mén要yào走zǒu很hěn远yuǎn的de路lù。

A ninety-year-old man called Yu Gong, Foolish Old Man, lived with two great mountains blocking his door.

愚yú公gōng决定jué dìng把bǎ山shān挖wā掉diào。他tā带dài着zhuó家人jiā rén，每měi天tiān挖wā山shān运yùn土tǔ。

He resolved to dig them away and set to it with his family, moving earth every day.

一yī个gè聪明cōng ming人rén笑xiào他tā：你nǐ这么zhè me老lǎo了liǎo，怎么zěn me可能kě néng挖wā掉diào两liǎng座zuò大dà山shān？

A wise man laughed: 'Old as you are, how could you possibly move two mountains?'

愚yú公gōng说shuō：我wǒ死sǐ了liǎo有yǒu儿子ér zi，儿子ér zi死sǐ了liǎo有yǒu孙子sūn zi，子zi子孙zǐ sūn孙sūn没有méi yǒu尽头jìn tóu，山shān却què不bù会huì再zài长zhǎng高gāo。

Yu Gong said: 'When I die there are my sons, then grandsons, my line is endless, but the mountains will not grow.'

天tiān帝dì被bèi愚yú公gōng感动gǎn dòng了liǎo，派pài了liǎo两liǎng个gè神仙shén xiān把bǎ山shān背bèi走zǒu了liǎo。

The Emperor of Heaven, moved, sent two gods to carry the mountains away.
