美měi不bù美měi，乡xiāng中zhōng水shuǐ。亲qīn不bù亲qīn，故乡gù xiāng人rén。莺yīng花huā犹yóu怕pà春chūn光guāng老lǎo，岂qǐ可kě教jiāo人rén枉wǎng度dù春chūn。

Sweet or not, it's home's water; dear or not, they're home's people, even orioles fear the spring growing old, so how can a man waste his spring?

相xiāng逢féng不bù饮yǐn空kòng归guī去qù，洞dòng口kǒu桃花táo huā也yě笑xiào人rén。红hóng粉fěn佳人jiā rén休xiū使shǐ老lǎo，风流fēng liú浪làng子zǐ莫mò教jiāo贫pín。

Meeting without drinking and going home, the peach flowers at the cave mouth will laugh at you; don't let the pretty girl grow old, don't let the wanderer be poor.
