杯弓蛇影

乐lè广guǎng请qǐng朋友péng you喝hē酒jǐu，朋友péng you看到kàn dào杯子bēi zi里lǐ有yǒu一yī条tiáo小xiǎo蛇shé，硬yìng着zhuó头tóu皮pí喝hē了liǎo下去xià qù。

Yue Guang invited a friend to drink; the friend saw a small snake in his cup and forced the wine down.

回家huí jiā以后yǐ hòu，他tā总zǒng觉得jué de蛇shé在zài肚子dù zi里lǐ，越yuè想xiǎng越yuè害怕hài pà，病bìng倒dào了liǎo。

Back home he kept feeling the snake in his belly; the more he thought, the sicker he became.

乐lè广guǎng知道zhī dào以后yǐ hòu，回到huí dào原来yuán lái的de座位zuò wèi上shàng，发现fā xiàn是shì墙qiáng上shàng挂guà着zhuó的de弓gōng，倒dào映yìng在zài酒jǐu杯bēi里lǐ。

Yue Guang, learning of it, sat where his friend had sat, and saw it was the bow on the wall, reflected in the cup.

他tā又yòu请qǐng朋友péng you来lái，告诉gào su他tā真相zhēn xiàng。朋友péng you的de病bìng马上mǎ shàng就jìu好了hǎo le。

He invited the friend back and showed him. The illness vanished at once.
