盼望pàn wàng着zhuó，盼望pàn wàng着zhuó，东dōng风fēng来lái了liǎo，春天chūn tiān的de脚步jiǎo bù近jìn了liǎo。

Longing, longing — the east wind comes, spring's steps draw near.

小xiǎo草cǎo偷偷tōu tōu地dì从cóng土tǔ里lǐ钻zuān出来chū lái，嫩nèn嫩nèn的de，绿lǜ绿lǜ的de。园yuán子zi里lǐ，田野tián yě里lǐ，瞧qiáo去qù，一yī大片dà piàn一yī大片dà piàn满mǎn是shì的de。

The grass slips secretly from the soil — tender, green; gardens and fields are covered with it.

桃树táo shù、杏xìng树shù、梨lí树shù，你nǐ不bù让ràng我wǒ，我wǒ不bù让ràng你nǐ，都dōu开kāi满mǎn了liǎo花huā赶gǎn趟tàng儿ér。

Peach, apricot, pear trees vie to flower — none yields the ground.

春天chūn tiān像xiàng刚gāng落地luò dì的de娃娃wá wa，从头cóng tóu到dào脚jiǎo都dōu是shì新xīn的de，它tā生长shēng zhǎng着zhuó。春天chūn tiān像xiàng小xiǎo姑娘gū niang，花huā枝zhī招zhāo展zhǎn的de，笑xiào着zhuó走zǒu着zhuó。

Spring is a newborn child, all new, still growing; spring is a little girl, dressed in flowers, laughing as she walks.
