来lái如rú风雨fēng yǔ，去qù似shì微wēi尘chén。长zhǎng江jiāng后hòu浪làng推tuī前qián浪làng，世shì上shàng新人xīn rén赶gǎn旧jìu人rén。

Coming like wind and rain, going like fine dust — the river's new waves push the old; the world's new people chase the old.

近jìn水shuǐ楼lóu台tái先xiān得děi月yuè，向xiàng阳yáng花huā木mù早zǎo逢féng春chūn。古人gǔ rén不见bù jiàn今jīn时shí月yuè，今jīn月yuè曾经céng jīng照zhào古人gǔ rén。

The waterside pavilion gets the moon first; the sun-facing plant meets spring early — the ancients never saw today's moon, yet today's moon shone on them.
