寒号鸟

冬天dōng tiān到dào了liǎo，喜xǐ鹊què忙máng着zhuó做zuò窝wō，寒hán号hào鸟niǎo却què只zhī知道zhī dào玩wán。

Winter came. The magpie busied itself building a nest, but the hanhao bird only played.

夜里yè li很hěn冷lěng，寒hán号hào鸟niǎo说shuō：明天míng tiān我wǒ就jìu垒lěi窝wō！

At night it grew cold. 'Tomorrow I'll build my nest!' the hanhao bird said.

第dì二èr天tiān，太阳tài yang出来chū lái了liǎo，它tā又yòu忘wàng了liǎo垒lěi窝wō，继续jì xù玩wán。

The next day the sun came out, and it forgot all about the nest and played again.

就jìu这样zhè yàng一yī天tiān又yòu一yī天tiān，它tā一直yī zhí没有méi yǒu垒lěi窝wō。

Day after day went by like this, and it never built the nest.

最后zuì hòu，在zài一yī个gè寒冷hán lěng的de夜里yè li，寒hán号hào鸟niǎo冻dòng死sǐ在zài了liǎo岩yán缝fèng里lǐ。

In the end, on one freezing night, the hanhao bird froze to death in a crevice.
