井底之蛙

一yì只zhī青蛙qīng wā住zhù在zài一yì口kǒu井jǐng里lǐ，他tā对duì东dōng海hǎi来lái的de大dà鳖biē说shuō：我wǒ这里zhè lǐ多duō好多hǎo duō大dà，你nǐ看kàn这zhè天tiān，这zhè水shuǐ。

A frog lived in a well. To a great turtle from the Eastern Sea he boasted: see my sky, my water, how grand.

大dà鳖biē说shuō：东dōng海hǎi大dà得de走zǒu不到bú dào边biān，深shēn得de看kàn不见bú jiàn底dǐ。

The turtle said: the Eastern Sea is too wide to cross and too deep to see the bottom.

青蛙qīng wā听tīng了le，呆dāi住zhù了le，半天bàn tiān说shuō不bù出chū话huà。

The frog stared, speechless.

只zhǐ看kàn过guò井jǐng口kǒu那么nà me大dà天tiān的de人rén，不知bù zhī道dào天tiān有yǒu多duō大dà。

One who has only seen sky the size of a well's mouth doesn't know how vast the sky is.
