小鹿和母鹿

一yì只zhī小xiǎo鹿lù问wèn妈妈mā ma：你nǐ比bǐ狗gǒu大dà，跑pǎo得de比bǐ狗gǒu快kuài，还有hái yǒu角jiǎo，为什么wèi shén me见jiàn了le狗gǒu就jiù跑pǎo呢ne？

A fawn asked his mother: you're bigger than a dog, run faster, and have antlers, why do you flee from dogs?

母mǔ鹿lù说shuō：孩子hái zi，你nǐ说shuō得de都dōu对duì。

The doe said: everything you say is true, child.

可是kě shì我wǒ一yì听见tīng jiàn狗gǒu叫jiào，腿tuǐ就jiù软ruǎn了le，只能zhǐ néng跑pǎo。

But the moment I hear a dog bark, my legs go weak and I must run.

道理dào li都dōu明白míng bai，可是kě shì胆子dǎn zi小xiǎo，道理dào li就jiù没有méi yǒu用yòng了le。

Understanding is useless without courage.
