小猫钓鱼

小xiǎo猫māo和hé妈妈mā ma一起yì qǐ去qù钓鱼diào yú。

A kitten went fishing with its mother.

一yì只zhī蜻qīng蜓tíng飞fēi来lái了le，小xiǎo猫māo就jiù去qù捉zhuō蜻qīng蜓tíng；一yì只zhī蝴蝶hú dié飞fēi来lái了le，小xiǎo猫māo又yòu去qù追zhuī蝴蝶hú dié。

A dragonfly flew past, and the kitten ran off to catch it; a butterfly flew past, and off it chased the butterfly.

结果jié guǒ，半天bàn tiān过去guò qù了le，小xiǎo猫māo一yì条tiáo鱼yú也yě没méi钓diào到dào。

Half a day went by, and the kitten had caught not a single fish.

猫māo妈妈mā ma说shuō：钓鱼diào yú要yào一心一意yì xīn yī yì，三sān心xīn二èr意yì，怎么zěn me能néng钓diào到dào鱼yú呢ne？

Mother Cat said: fishing needs your whole heart. How can you catch fish with your mind in three places at once?

小xiǎo猫māo听tīng了le，专心zhuān xīn钓鱼diào yú，很hěn快kuài就jiù钓diào到dào了le一yì条tiáo大dà鱼yú。

The kitten listened, settled down to fish, and soon caught a big one.
