愚公移山（详读本）

很hěn久jǐu以前yǐ qián，有yǒu一yī位wèi九jǐu十shí岁suì的de老人lǎo rén，名字míng zi叫jiào愚yú公gōng。他tā家jiā门口mén kǒu有yǒu两liǎng座zuò大dà山shān，一yī座zuò叫jiào太tài行háng，一yī座zuò叫jiào王wáng屋wū，出门chū mén要yào绕rào很hěn远yuǎn的de路lù。

Long ago there was a ninety-year-old man called Yugong. Two great mountains stood before his door, Taihang and Wangwu, and going out meant a long detour.

有yǒu一yī天tiān，愚yú公gōng把bǎ全家quán jiā人rén叫jiào到dào一起yī qǐ，说shuō：我们wǒ men一起yī qǐ把bǎ这zhè两liǎng座zuò山shān挖wā平píng，好hào不bù好hào？家人jiā rén都dōu同意tóng yì了liǎo。

One day Yugong called his family together: let us dig these two mountains flat. Everyone agreed.

第dì二èr天tiān，全家quán jiā人rén就jìu开始kāi shǐ挖wā山shān。挖wā出来chū lái的de土tǔ和hé石头shí tou，要yào运yùn到dào很hěn远yuǎn的de海边hǎi biān去qù倒dào，一yī年nián才能cái néng走zǒu一yī个gè来回lái huí。

The next day the whole family began digging. The earth and stone had to be carried all the way to the sea, one round trip a year.

邻居lín jū中zhōng有yǒu一yī个gè叫jiào智zhì叟sǒu的de老人lǎo rén笑话xiào hua他tā：你nǐ都dōu九jǐu十shí岁suì了liǎo，山shān这么zhè me高gāo，怎么zěn me可能kě néng挖wā得děi完wán？

An old neighbor called Zhisou laughed at him: you are ninety, and the mountains are so high. How could you ever finish?

愚yú公gōng回答huí dá：我wǒ死sǐ了liǎo，还有hái yǒu儿子ér zi；儿子ér zi死sǐ了liǎo，还有hái yǒu孙子sūn zi。子zi子孙zǐ sūn孙sūn是shì没有méi yǒu穷qióng尽jǐn的de，可是kě shì山shān不bù会长huì zhǎng高gāo，为什么wèi shén me挖wā不平bù píng呢ne？

Yugong answered: when I die there are my sons; when they die, their sons. The line is endless, but the mountain grows no taller. Why could it not be leveled?

智zhì叟sǒu听tīng了liǎo，一句话yī jù huà也yě说shuō不bù出来chū lái。

Zhisou had nothing to say.

这zhè件jiàn事shì感动gǎn dòng了liǎo天tiān帝dì。天tiān帝dì派pài了liǎo两liǎng个gè神仙shén xiān，把bǎ两liǎng座zuò大dà山shān背bèi走zǒu了liǎo。

The matter moved the Emperor of Heaven, who sent two spirits to carry the mountains away.

愚yú公gōng他们tā men一家人yī jiā rén，从cóng春天chūn tiān挖wā到dào夏天xià tiān，从cóng秋天qīu tiān挖wā到dào冬天dōng tiān，一yī天tiān也yě没有méi yǒu停tíng过guo。

Yugong's family dug from spring to summer, autumn to winter, never stopping a single day.

有人yǒu rén问wèn他tā累lèi不bù累lèi，他tā说shuō：挖wā一yī天tiān，山shān就jìu矮ǎi一点儿yī diǎn r，我wǒ心里xīn li高兴gāo xìng。

Someone asked if he was tired. He said: every day of digging lowers the mountain a little; it makes me glad.

愚公移山yú gōng yí shān这zhè个gè成语chéng yǔ告诉gào su我们wǒ men：目标mù biāo再zài大dà也yě不要bù yào怕pà，只要zhǐ yào一代yī dài一代yī dài坚持jiān chí下去xià qù，就jìu没有méi yǒu做zuò不到bù dào的de事shì。

Yugong moving the mountains teaches: no goal is too great. Persist generation after generation and nothing is impossible.
