后羿射日

古gǔ时候shí hou天上tiān shàng有yǒu十shí个gè太阳tài yang，晒shài得de庄稼zhuāng jia枯kū死sǐ，河hé水shuǐ干gàn了le，百bǎi姓xìng没méi法fǎ活huó。

Long ago ten suns burned in the sky; crops withered, rivers dried, the people could not live.

神shén箭jiàn手shǒu后hòu羿yì拉开lā kāi弓gōng，一yì支zhī一yì支zhī把bǎ太阳tài yang射shè下来xià lai。

The archer Hou Yi drew his bow and shot them down one by one.

射shè下xià九jiǔ个gè以后yǐ hòu，天上tiān shàng只zhǐ剩shèng一yí个gè太阳tài yang，大地dà dì又yòu凉快liáng kuai起来qǐ lai。

Nine fell; one sun remained, and the earth grew cool again.

后hòu羿yì成chéng了le救jiù百bǎi姓xìng的de英雄yīng xióng。直到zhí dào今天jīn tiān，人们rén men还hái讲jiǎng他tā的de故事gù shi。

Hou Yi became the people's saviour, and his story is still told today.
