囊萤夜读

晋jìn朝cháo的de车chē胤yìn小时候xiǎo shí hou特别tè bié爱ài读书dú shū，可是kě shì家里jiā lǐ穷qióng，晚上wǎn shang点diǎn不bù起qǐ油yóu灯dēng。

Che Yin of the Jin dynasty loved books as a boy, but his family was too poor for lamp oil at night.

夏天xià tiān的de夜里yè li，他tā看见kàn jiàn萤yíng火huǒ虫chóng飞fēi来lái飞fēi去qù，一yì闪shǎn一yì闪shǎn地de发fā着zhe光guāng，心里xīn li有yǒu了le主意zhǔ yi。

One summer night he watched fireflies drifting and blinking in the dark, and had an idea.

他tā捉zhuō了le几jǐ十shí只zhī萤yíng火huǒ虫chóng，装zhuāng进jìn薄báo薄báo的de布bù袋dài里lǐ，挂guà在zài书桌shū zhuō前qián当dāng灯dēng用yòng。

He caught dozens of fireflies, sealed them in a thin cloth bag, and hung it above his desk for a lamp.

借jiè着zhe这zhè一yì点diǎn萤yíng光guāng，他tā天天tiān tiān读书dú shū到dào半夜bàn yè，后来hòu lái成chéng了le有名yǒu míng的de大学dà xué问wèn家jiā。条件tiáo jiàn再zài差chà，也yě挡dǎng不bú住zhù真zhēn想xiǎng读书dú shū的de人rén。

By that faint glow he read deep into every night, and grew into a famous scholar. Poverty cannot stop someone who truly loves to learn.
