牛郎织女

牛níu郎láng是shì个gè穷qióng孤儿gū ér，和hé一头yī tóu老lǎo牛níu一起yī qǐ生活shēng huó。老lǎo牛níu会huì说话shuō huà，告诉gào su他tā天上tiān shàng的de织zhī女nǚ要yào下xià凡fán洗澡xǐ zǎo。

The cowherd was a poor orphan living with an old ox. The talking ox told him the weaver maid of heaven would bathe on earth.

牛níu郎láng藏cáng起qǐ织zhī女nǚ的de衣裳yī shang，织zhī女nǚ回huí不bù去qù，嫁jià给gěi了liǎo牛níu郎láng，生shēng了liǎo一yī儿ér一yī女nǚ。

He hid her robe; she could not return, married him, and bore a boy and girl.

王wáng母mǔ娘niáng娘niáng知道zhī dào了liǎo，把bǎ织zhī女nǚ抓zhuā回huí天上tiān shàng。牛níu郎láng披pī着zhuó老lǎo牛níu的de皮pí，挑tiǎo着zhuó两liǎng个gè孩子hái zi追zhuī上shàng天tiān去qù。

The Queen Mother found out and dragged the weaver back to heaven. The cowherd donned the ox's hide and chased her skyward, carrying the children.

王wáng母mǔ娘niáng娘niáng拔bá下xià簪zān子zi划huà出chū一yī条tiáo银yín河hé，把bǎ他们tā men分开fēn kāi。每měi年nián七qī月初yuè chū七qī，喜xǐ鹊què搭dā桥qiáo，牛níu郎láng织zhī女nǚ才能cái néng见jiàn一yī次cì面miàn。

The Queen Mother drew her hairpin across the sky — the Silver River — dividing them. On the seventh night of the seventh month, magpies bridge it so the lovers meet once a year.
