田螺姑娘

农nóng夫fū谢xiè端duān在zài田tián里lǐ捡jiǎn到dào一yì只zhī大dà田tián螺luó，带dài回家huí jiā养yǎng在zài水shuǐ缸gāng里lǐ。

The farmer Xie Duan found a great river snail and kept it in his water jar.

从此cóng cǐ他tā每měi天tiān干gàn活huó回来huí lai，家里jiā lǐ饭fàn菜cài都dōu做zuò好了hǎo le，衣服yī fu也yě洗xǐ好了hǎo le。

一yì天tiān他tā假装jiǎ zhuāng出门chū mén，偷偷tōu tōu回来huí lai一yí看kàn：田tián螺luó里lǐ走zǒu出chū一yí个gè姑娘gū niang在zài做饭zuò fàn。

姑娘gū niang是shì天上tiān shàng的de白bái水shuǐ素sù女nǚ，见jiàn谢xiè端duān勤快qín kuài善良shàn liáng，来lái帮bāng他tā的de。两liǎng人rén成chéng了le夫妻fū qī，日子rì zi越过yuè guò越yuè好hǎo。

She was the White Water Maiden of heaven, come to aid his honest toil. They married and prospered.
