小蝌蚪找妈妈

池塘chí táng里lǐ有yǒu一yì群qún小xiǎo蝌kē蚪dǒu，大大dà dà的de脑袋nǎo dai，黑hēi灰色huī sè的de身子shēn zi。

In the pond lived a school of little tadpoles, big heads, dark grey bodies.

它们tā men想xiǎng找zhǎo妈妈mā ma。看见kàn jiàn鲤lǐ鱼yú妈妈mā ma，就jiù问wèn：我们wǒ men的de妈妈mā ma在zài哪里nǎ lǐ？

They wanted to find their mother. Seeing Mother Carp, they asked: where is our mother?

鲤lǐ鱼yú说shuō：你们nǐ men的de妈妈mā ma有yǒu四sì条tiáo腿tuǐ，到dào前面qián miàn去qù找zhǎo吧ba。

Carp said: your mother has four legs, look further ahead.

小xiǎo蝌kē蚪dǒu游yóu啊a游yóu，长zhǎng出chū了le两liǎng条tiáo后hòu腿tuǐ，又yòu长zhǎng出chū了le前qián腿tuǐ。

The tadpoles swam on and on, sprouted two hind legs, then front legs.

它们tā men终于zhōng yú找到zhǎo dào了le青蛙qīng wā妈妈mā ma。原来yuán lái自己zì jǐ一yì天天tiān tiān在zài长大zhǎng dà。

At last they found Mother Frog, and realized they had been growing up all along.
