苏东坡

苏sū轼shì，号hào东dōng坡pō，是shì宋sòng朝cháo最zuì有yǒu才华cái huá的de人rén。

Su Shi, styled Dongpo, was the most brilliant man of the Song.

他tā会huì写xiě诗shī、写xiě词cí、写xiě字zì、画huà画huà，还huán做zuò得děi一手yī shǒu好hào菜cài。

He wrote shi and ci poetry, excelled at calligraphy and painting, and cooked beautifully.

东dōng坡pō肉ròu，就是jìu shì他tā发明fā míng的de。

Dongpo pork is his invention.

他tā一生yī shēng被bèi贬biǎn了liǎo好hào几jǐ次cì，但是dàn shì他tā很hěn乐观lè guān。

He was exiled several times in his life, yet stayed cheerful.

他tā写xiě过guo：竹zhú杖zhàng芒máng鞋xié轻qīng胜shèng马mǎ，谁shéi怕pà？一yī蓑suō烟yān雨yǔ任rèn平píng生shēng。

He wrote: 'A bamboo staff and straw sandals — lighter than a horse. Who's afraid? One straw cloak in the misty rain, all my life.'

他tā被bèi贬biǎn到dào哪里nǎ lǐ，就jìu把bǎ哪里nǎ lǐ变成biàn chéng家jiā，还huán留下líu xià了liǎo很hěn多duō名míng菜cài和hé名míng句jù。

Wherever he was sent, he made himself at home — leaving famous dishes and famous lines behind.
